Accreditation:
Applicants will receive a certificate of attendance, successfully completing 20hrs Rocket Yoga Teacher Training, becoming a Rocket inspired teacher.

Course Overview
Rocket Yoga is a powerful and dynamic integration of the traditional Ashtanga series 1 & 2, Larry Shultz developed the Rocket in order to make the more challenging poses of the Ashtanga Series’ accessible to all levels. The pace is faster and the emphasis is on the breath to carry each movement to allow students to build strength, stamina and an upward lift to rise against the downward pull of gravity, hence the name ‘Rocket’. Through the faster pace and continuous flowing motion the cardiovascular system is enhanced and the body becomes both stronger , and in turn lighter.
As a teacher of the Rocket Yoga system, you will be able to help committed students, safely and effectively, progress in their asana practice in a much shorter time. There are many opportunities for you to teach them how to break down postures and build more challenging postures into their regular practice. as the founder of Rocket Yoga, Larry Schultz says: “It gets you there… faster!”
Join us for an immersive training experience spanning three days across two consecutive weekends: Sunday, June 4th, Saturday, June 10th, and Sunday, June 11th, 2023, from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm. This transformative training program will equip you with the essential foundation to either kickstart your teaching journey or enhance your personal practice, thereby expanding your skill set and diversifying your teaching repertoire.
Throughout this training, you’ll delve into the intricacies of the Rocket sequences, master the art of “flying,” explore the artful craft of sequencing, and engage in playful exploration of arm balances and inversions. Additionally, you’ll embark on an enriching journey through the captivating history and profound philosophy of The Rocket and its visionary creator, Larry Schultz. As a special component of this course, you’ll have the opportunity to actively participate by assisting in two live Rocket Yoga classes, exclusively for teachers, at our studio
This training is tailored for two distinct groups: 200hr RYT’s with prior experience instructing in either Ashtanga or Vinyasa, as well as non-teachers possessing an intermediate to advanced level of practice. Whether you’re aiming to deepen your knowledge and skill set for your own practice or keen to learn the distinctive sequences and transitions that render The Rocket so uniquely creative and enjoyable, this program is your gateway to a transformative journey.

100% attendance of the course is expected to become certified
We understand that emergencies and other life situations do arise. We recommend that you carefully review your schedule and upcoming obligations to ensure that you can commit fully to the teacher training. In some circumstances the following options may apply:
- Missed Lectures: Private lessons may be scheduled with the course leader to cover missed classes, subject to an additional cost
- Missed Weekend: If a student is absent from a full weekend (Sat & Sun) a future date to cover modules missed can be arranged, subject to teacher availability. Fees may apply.
- Making up hours missed is offered only in the face of extenuating events and will be extended by the lead teacher on a case-by-case basis. No teaching certification will be offered until all course hours have been completed.
